Open Question: How do I commit suicide easily?
I need to commit suicide. Basically, I need a method which is extremely simple and cheap, something that can only be detected after the deed is done. Something that I can accomplish without having to deal with others, either in the preparation mode or execution mode. And something that, for the most part, won't affect others until it is extremely too tardy. That is, I want to sit down and ingest (eat / drink) something, look like I've simply fallen asleep, and be left alone until I have started to decay or otherwise gotten to a point of no return. I like to be drunk, so if such takes effect only with alcohol, so be it. In fact I would welcome such a "complication." I adore alcohol. It is pretty much the only thing in this life that I like (well, sex, but I have so few people who will help me out there, that it is hardly worth mentioning). I absolutely, in no way desire or wish for anyone to tell me to "go for help." This is the help I want. This is the help I need. With it, I *might* feel that I can go on because I will have "a way out" so that when the time comes I can do it. Without such a "way out," I will always be looking for one, which will take much more time than trying to convince me that "life is good." If you really want me to feel that way, give me a real "out," such that I won't have to take it, rather than some platitudes that have no meaning. Because as long as I think that I can't receive out of this life, that will be what I am looking for. If I have a sure way out, then I can quit looking for that, and instead concentrate on making this life better. Which no one seems to want to do. Everyone seems to want me to keep on suffering with the crap I'm going through. "Oh, it'll receive better! Find a doctor!" Like I haven't already tried that. I have. And it hasn't worked. I'm taking three different types of medicines (unfortunately, none of which are fatal) and I'm still hoping to die. I know where I want to die. I know how (practically, if not medicinally) I want to die. If I have the means to die, I will be able to hold off because then I will know that I can take care of myself. Without that knowledge, I will continue to search for a way to kill myself, and perhaps use it at the earliest possible moment, whereas if I have the knowledge to do it at will, I will most definitely feel that I can go a little longer and thus *not* kill myself at the most opportune time. So take your pick. Tell me how to do it in the way I want to do it and wish that I won't do so, or don't tell me and realize that there is the possibility that I will do myself away at the earliest possible moment. It's up to you, but if you want me to stay alive, the best thing to do is to give me the means to kill myself. As long as you don't, I will definitely keep searching, and perhaps take that way out as soon as I can. After every, I have read enough to know how to do it slowly (and painfully). I will do that just to spite you if you don't tell me a quick and easy way to do it. Because I would rather do that than have to deal with old age, disease, injury or some other way that really sucks. You know what? I'm not even going to hide my identity any more than I already have. I just set up a separate account so that I could receive information anonymously, but screw that. My name is Bill Lewis. I live in Mizusawa, Oshu, Iwate, Japan. I'm 41 years old. I'm originally from Savannah, GA, USA. If you can't figure out who I am from that information, then you don't really have the savvy I need to tug off the death I am so looking for anyway. Give me death or the means to do so, or leave me alone. You can contact me directly at actionenglish_birusensei@yahoo.co.jp So do it right (so that I can die) or don't do it at every. The quicker I receive this information, the quicker I can look for a way out. It's up to you.

Open Question: What disease/disorder can cause these symptoms in our senior cat?
We have a 13-year-old female Siamese-mix who has been below the weather for several months now. We have postponed a vet visit for several reasons. She had surgery 5 years ago to remove thread she had eaten. We knew because of its invasive nature it might cause her trouble later in life. Honestly, we believed she was passing away from age and we just wanted to make her comfortable. Now, however, we are still concerned. Her symptoms have not changed, either for better or worse. We are beginning to wish she can be helped. The trouble is, the only vet we trust is 30 minutes away. If her condition is likely to cause her to die from stress, we would prefer to let her pass away comfortably at home. We would feel terrible if she suffered and died painfully alone in the cat carrier. It would be equally terrible to cart her every the way out there only to discover she has a condition that cannot be treated. We really do not want her to suffer needlessly. Below are her symptoms. I understand she cannot be diagnosed online. I am just looking for a likelihood here. It would be nice to know what to expect. The most noticeable problem is that she no longer defecates in the litter box. She occasionally urinates in the box, but sometimes not. Her stool has been very tight, but with hairball medicine, it has loosened. Her urine is normal. She seems to have pain and weakness in her legs, especially the back legs. She does not groom her hindquarters very well, so we have been brushing her. She still eats and drinks regularly. She has lost a little weight, but is by no means underweight. She is not very mobile, but spends most of her time in one room. She does not climb on anything, except a person's lap if one of us sits on the floor. If there is more information I can offer, let me know. I appreciate any speculation and advice. There have been no changes in her eating/drinking habits or the frequency of her urinating/bowel movements.

Open Question: Is it "wrong" to wind people up.... ?
It is "wrong" (morally I mean) to wind people up? I seem to do it an awful lot! I look "dumb" questions and can't believe my eyes! How can people be so dumb and clueless? It makes them ripe for being wound up! Questions like - how do I lose 15lb in a week! Or nonsense childish infantile relationship squabbles.... I can't seem to cease myself from winding people up and have a giggle at their expense. Am I doomed to hell? It amazes me ( and not in a good way ) I am stunned that people can be so dumb and clueless in this day and age. There is MORE available information out there than ever before, but people seem to be clueless. People seem unable to conduct any sort of BASIC research or fact finding. Why are people so stupid? Yes I went to Uni and have a BSc BUT honest to god you don't NEED a university degree to do a google search (other search engines ARE available!!) and find basic information! Are "we" a nation of nincompoops who aren't capable of finding facts or information? (OH ha ha good old Yahoo thinks this is a WEATHER section question!!) Dumb or what?!

Open Question: Why doesn't anyone want to hear my life story?
So I was walking down the road and this guy comes up and he goes HEY BUDDY.. GOT A QUARTER and I go.. hey, my name is dogbox tranzy, I was born in liverpool in 1875 below the name boxdog transomnial. When I was 2 I successfully unified quantum physics with general relativity by going forwards in time and getting every the information I needed then going backwards in time. When I was 5 me and mumma chow moved to the great barrier reef where we lived as fish below the sea. We came up with the little mermade tune but they stole it from us over a century later. At age 6 we were sucked into a great abyss and I emerged on the other side as some nice of singularity stuck in a state of non existence until someone.. or something.. perceived me and I popped into existence once more. I was 13 and zoomed through nebula 5 into Zyron 6, the state of pseudo ether consciousness. Where thought is in liquid gel form. Having no body but only a state of conciousness that could not be transmuted into what you humans call thought.. I sought out the great architect Myokok. He attempted to give me solid form but in doing so I must give up part of my possess conciousness. As every solid beings do in order to be solid. This giving up of conciousness caused me to forget the great knowledge of the universe I had obtained hitherto and I had only vague recollections. I was then sent back to planet Rygon 69, a.k.a Earth where I moved to New Zealand. How ever, I was not expecting to be greeted by an army of sheep. The general, Roger Ram Approached me and said YEW MEST receive EOUT EW KIWI KIWI So I thought ok.. I jumped in the ocean and swam for a while.. ended up beached on the great barrier reef again. I met nemo and ate him. My peg leg fell off. I was now 20. It was time to head into the desert and await further instructions from our hippie cult leader, C.M. I meditated in the desert, saw some chilly stuff, then finally C.M called me using telepathy and said "My son.. you must take off every your clothes and start digging a giant hole in the ground. In several years you will reach the hidden temple built in the centre of the earth by aliens long ago" So I did and was now 24. I am typing to you now from the centre of the earth on my laptop as I am about to enter the temple built by aliens. There's lava every around me. It's made of rock .. And that's my life story.

Open Question: after reading the text below is it a safe/smart idea to delete my faceboook?
it seems scary that anyone can just hack in .... Security concerns over Facebook have been raised yet again after a security consultant collected the names and profile URLs for 171 million Facebook accounts from publicly available information. The consultant, Ron Bowes, then uploaded the data as a torrent file allowing anyone with a computer connection to download the data. Simon Davies a representative of the U.K.-based privacy watchdog Privacy International accused Facebook of negligence over the data mining technique, according to the BBC. Facebook, however, told the British news service that Bowes actions haven't exposed anything new since every the information Bowes collected was already public. So what are the security risks? Should you be concerned? Let's take a look. What data was collected? Ron Bowes, a security consultant and blogger at Skull Security, used a piece of computer script to scan Facebook profiles listed in Facebook's public profile directory. Using the script Bowes collected the names and profile URLs for every publicly searchable Facebook profile. every together, Bowes said he was able to collect names and Web addresses for 171 million Facebook users. That's a little more than a third Facebook's 500 million users. (Click image over to zoom) What did he do with the data? Bowes compiled this list of text into a file and made it available online as a downloadable torrent. How many people have downloaded the torrent? The Pirate Bay lists 2923 seeds and 9473 leechers for the torrent file at the time of this writing. Seeds are people who have downloaded the entire file and are uploading to others. Leechers are actively downloading the file. Is this a big deal? That depends on who you ask. Facebook points out that some of the data Bowes collected was already available through search engines like Google and Bing. The entire data set is also available to any user signed into Facebook. So the data was already publicly available, and nobody's private Facebook data has been compromised. Nevertheless, this is the first time that 171 million Facebook profile names have been collected into one set of files that can be easily analyzed and searched by anyone. What could a malicious hacker use the data for? As Bowes pointed out in a blog post, someone could use this data as a starting point to find other publicly available user data on Facebook. After every, you have to wonder how many of these 171 million Facebook users have publicly exposed e-mail addresses, phone numbers and other information on their profiles? It has been proven time and again that the more a bad guy knows about you the greater your security risk is. Collecting personal data allowed a French hacker to steal confidential corporate documents at Twitter. Researchers were alarmed when Netflix wanted to release anonymous user data including age, gender and ZIP code for the Netflix Prize 2. Security researchers said the data dump by Netflix was irresponsible since it is possible to narrow down a person's identity just by knowing their age and ZIP code. The contest was eventually canceled. One Carnegie-Mellon study also found a flaw in the social security numbering system that could allow a sophisticated hacker using data mining techniques to uncover up to 47 social security numbers a minute. How do I know if my name was caught in the data dump? From your Facebook profile dashboard click on 'Account' in the upper right hand side of your dashboard. Select 'Privacy Settings,' and then on the next page below 'Basic Directory Information' click on 'View Settings.' You should look a page similar to the image over. If the first listing called "Search for me on Facebook" is set to "Everyone." Then chances are, your name and profile URL are in the torrent file. (Click image to zoom) You should also check to look if external search engines like Google and Bing are indexing your profile. To do this go back to your main privacy settings page, and at the bottom click on the "Edit Settings" button next to "Public Search." On the next page, if the "Enable public search" check box is ticked then search engines are indexing your profile. To cease this just uncheck the box and then click on "Back to Applications." My name is not in the public directory should I be concerned? If you were not in the public directory Bowes says your name is not in the torrent file. However, you could be exposed to similar data mining techniques in the future. Bowes says that if any of your Facebook connections have made their friends lists public then your profile could easily be found through data mining your friends' profiles. What can I do to keep my information private? The biggest concern isn't so much about your name and profile URL being exposed. The greater concern, for you anyway

Resolved Question: My mums too protective and its ruining my life!?
Ok I'm not allowed to use social networking sites like facebook, bebo, twitter and youtube. Facebook I wanted and everyone I knew had one and I wasn't allowed. I'm 13 nearly 14 and recently I asked my mum if I could post videos on youtube of me singing songs I wrote myself, but she is too afraid that people will stalk me. I have allready covered that she could look anything that I'm posting to check if it was safe enough and that I wouldn't post ANY of my personal information, not even my name. She thinks that if someone look's my image they will stalk me and my mum has allready signed me up for an acting agency, so I would appear in commercials and stuff, so it really is ruining my life because in school everyone is like "Whats your facebook?" and I'm like "I...don't have a facebook.." and there like "Omg seriously! What a loser!" I also have been left out with conversations like a group of my friends started disscusing their farmvilles and their werewolve things on facebook and there like "Oh right you don't know what we are talking about.." I also have been saving up for ages for a mino HD camera so I could post my songs on youtube and then my mum refused... So I need serious help for anyone who used to be in this situation! Ok thanks for you help!

Resolved Question: Disability and Medicare Help Please!!!?
I was just put in SSI Disability and it is permanent. I have no insurance and I do not receive any other government system because of our home hold income is over the qualifying income. I do not receive in Disability. I mainly need help with my medication because I take 5 different medication. I take older medication because it is cheaper. Then I go to Walgreen's because I keep the most money there with their card and it is a huge saving but taking 5 medications add up. Plus I have to pay for my doctor but he only charges me $25 because he went to school with my husband. My husbands job has no insurance. He worked for GM and we had great insurance but he was one of the employees that lost their job. So, in April I will be eligible for for medicare, Can someone tell me what I receive and I know I have to about $100.00 to receive this with part A and Part B. How does this work? How does it work for medication because from what I read Part D is for medication. I did not look where medication is covered. They had a discount plans but I did not qualify for anything due to my age (40) and income. Any information someone can give me will be greatly appreciated!!!

Open Question: What happens if I don't give the hospital my insurance number?
So a few days ago I got into a car accident, a very minor fender bender. I was the passenger and my pal was driving and the accident wasn't his fault, it was the other driver's. Since I'm not over the age of 18 and my parents weren't there to sign me off as okay at the scene of the accident I had to go to the emergency room even though I was completely fine. I know it's really expensive and everything and when they were getting my information they got my number and address but not my insurance information. But seeing as I will never go to that hospital again AND I shouldn't have to pay for something like this I (and my mom) feel no desire to give them my insurance info just so they can charge my insurance. And seeing as the accident wasn't my fault at every, and I was in perfect health, and was seriously dragged to the ER, I'm wondering 1. if my family (or the insurance company) would have to pay for the ER trip. and 2. if i don't give them my insurance number, what would happen?

Open Question: Outside of game, there isn't a lot of relationship advice for men being generated?
and I saw this on Pelle Billings Gender Liberation beyond Feminism site and I thought I'd post it here.... "You may not have learned it in school, and your parents may not have taught you, but relying on traditional gender roles to receive you where you want is uncertain at best. In this day and age we need to turn to individual negotiation, something that men especially need to start becoming aware of. Women have already made this transition to a much greater extent, thanks to the women’s movement. Women are more aware of their choices, and evolutionary speaking women have always had to think about how good a deal they can receive when interacting with men. Men, on the other hand, still believe that they need to perform their traditional duties in every area of life, and are rarely fully conscious of what they offer and what they receive in return. If you are a man reading this, I therefore offer you this checklist of things to become aware of in your everyday life: * Do you help your female pal repair stuff or do you help her move or carry things that she finds heavy? If you do, then you should fully expect her to arrive to your home to cook and clean every now and then. * Do you buy drinks or dinners for women when dating? If you do, then what are you getting in return, financially? If the answer is nothing, then why are you doing it? * Do you really want to spend $10,000-100,000 on a fantasy wedding? Or is that her fantasy, and her wish? Would she let you buy something of equal value from money that she has brought into the marriage? * As long as family courts regularly award custody to the mom, it makes sense for every man to have a prenuptial agreement, so that you have the financial power after a divorce to compensate for her having power over the kids. * Do you even want to receive married? Do you need to receive married to satisfy what you’re after? Or is it enough for you to live with a lady and lift kids together?" I think that information like this can help some of the guys that turn up here feeling perhaps short changed, confused and sometimes a little mad. What are your thoughts Gender Studies? Pelle Billing is a swedish MRA http://www.pellebilling.com/ My take on individual negotiation is that nothing is off limits. You can certainly marry a lady, give her the wedding of her dreams, and then support her for the relax of your life. The question is: What are you getting in return? Are you getting your money’s worth? If you feel that this way of thinking is crass and unromantic, then you are the one to stand corrected. adore is free. Romance is free. No money is needed for two people to talk, kiss or make adore. Everything that we have been made to believe is necessary for romance (flowers, expensive dinners, an expensive car, an expensive wedding) has no natural connection to either romance or adore. And by the way, have you noticed what gender has decided what to call romantic? Again, nothing is off limits. You can do anything you want, including traditional romantic gestures. But start by asking yourself why you are doing it, and what you are getting in return. Becoming conscious in this ways is not unromantic, it simply means leveling the playing field with women, and having the chance to face women as their equal.

Open Question: living in Florence for 6 weeks?
I am enrolling in an italian language learning program in Florence for 6 weeks. I am 19 years old, and wondering if thats a good town for a 19 year old to be. Obviously i am going to want to experience the art, architecture, food, and culture.... But i also wanted to know if it was young-friendly. Is the nightlife ok? are there fun things for people my age to do? Also what are expenses like? I know Italy is very expensive as is, just wondering what it will be like to buy necessities like food there....How much might i need per week? Maybe experianced travelers could give me advice on some non-touristy places? The school itself will be taking us on "field trips" but just in my free time i would adore to go by myself and toss myself into the culture! My great grandparents came from Lucca, so i HAVE to go there, if you have information about that, then please let me know!

Open Question: How do companies like Intellius get information on people?
I have found some wrong information from companies like Intellius, etc. on people's date of birth/age, income, and locations. I looked up some friends (some even with unique names), and their information was also incorrect. Like their ages were 10 years older than what they actually were!

Open Question: Are there any benefits i can claim if i come out of work and my partner works?
Hi, i have never claimed benefits but i am getting a bit desperate now. My partner earns about £23k a year, it sounds like alot but it doesn't stretch far after how much he gets taxed, we possess a tiny 2 bed terrace with my partner and 2 boys which we bought when home prices were high and we have lots of bills so we cannot afford to live without me working even though i only work 16 hours a week and earn £90 a week, its still extra for food, we dont go out and we dont spend on luxuries. Because of my partners wage, if i came out of work we still wouldn't be entitled to working tax credits either. Now the reason.......When i was pregnant with my second son (who is 9 months old now) from 16 weeks i had severe SPD ,symphesis pupis dysfunction, by 26 weeks i was on crutches and had to use a wheel seat when out and about, i finished for my maternity at 33weeks. Anyway 9 months later, my pelvis hasn't got back to normal, i am on strong painkillers, and i am starting physio next week. I cant walk faster than normal pace, i cant run, even putting my knees close together when lied down is agonizing pain, i receive pains over the back of my pelvis and in between my legs, i am just in agony when on my feet or even sat down, its so difficult looking after a 3 yr old and a 9 months old :( I am working 16 hours in a food store and i am really struggling, my painkillers make me woozy and its really depressing me now :( The best thing for me to do is to arrive out of work whilst i am attending physio so my body can maybe heal as i feel im doing more damage, but i just cant afford to! Like i said i have never been on benefits and since i was 15 i have always worked and since i have been of age i have paid my tax, could i receive help off the government like incapacity benefit or DLA....i am getting desperate because i want to be able to go out and play with my kids. Please does anyone have any information, my doctor has offered sick notes but i have refused as i would still be paying nursery and having a money drop, its just upsetting that im making an effort to work with this condition and some people have no problems andreceivee benefits and have never paid tax, i just dont know what to do, thankyou x

Open Question: Internet Job Search tips and tricks?
What would you like to read about in regards to finding employment opportunities online? There is no shortage of information out there on job hunting, but how much of it is really relevant in the information age? What really does work? What doesn't? What are the new obstacles to employment in the information age? How to find legit opportunities to work from home or telecommute? Security concerns about personal information in resumes? ..the list continues on ... While I admit that this is not a new concept, the information out there is either dated, fractured, incomplete, misleading or in general dissolved across many many sites. There doesn't seem to be a good consolidation of information anywhere for the uninitiated online job searcher. Have you had success finding work online? Anyone with really bad experiences? What are your stories? What is your opinion/perception: pro, con, indifferent? Regards, Brett I should clarify that I am not job searching, I am doing research on "online job searching", please dont post links, I know how to use google, I am looking for peoples opinions on the topic and their experiences.

Open Question: Is my gerbil just getting fat or does it have a tumor?
I have two female gerbils, one is regular sized, the other is getting chubby. I've decided to put them on a diet (No sunflower seeds.) A few things about the chubbier gerbil is that she is probably the dominate gerbil of the two and she was from my pal who breed her gerbils a few times (She isn't professional.) I'm not sure how old each of them are, but I'm pretty sure they're about the same age, maybe 2 years. She is still active and loves to chew on cardboard. The reason I'm worried, I saw an article about someone's gerbil who was fat and someone said it probably had a tumor. If there's any information I'm missing please ask and I'll add to it. Please tell me what you think~

Resolved Question: Do illegals have the right to steal & use children's SS #'S Utah children's SS#'S still used by illegals?
Salt Lake City (ABC 4 News) Do you know where your child's social security number is? You probably have his or her card tucked away at home, but their numbers may be showing up at work sites every over Utah. While 9-year-old Brooklyn bounces on a trampoline in West Bountiful - someone is using her social security number at work in Draper and out in California. "Right now we know two for sure and maybe a third." That's what her step dad Eli Burke tells us about Brooklyn's not so private social security number. And the problem isn't new. Brooklyn's family learned about this when they applied for state medical coverage, back when Brooklyn was four. "We start calling around to Social Security. We called the police, but they didn't do anything." Five years later - people are still using her number and, still using a lot of other Utah kids's numbers. "As of February, 1,265 Utah kids, below the age of 12, are victims of somebody else misusing their number." That's according to Utah Assitant Attorney General wealthy Hamp. And Hamp should know he is the man in charge of prosecuting these cases. "When I receive the report in through IRI- we track it down and when we find the person at the end - we prosecute." And Hamp says most of the offenders are illegal immigrants using the numbers for work. "In virtually every case we have investigated, with the exception of one, it has arrive back to an illegal immigrant." Hamp says while he has prosecuted hundreds of people - he can't really keep up because there are thousands of cases. In fact, if you look at a map on the attorney general's IRIS web site ( http://iris.utah.gov/iris/public/map.do )every purple marker is a social security i-d case. And remember, these are just the ones that have been reported. The state estimates around 20 thousand Utah kids's numbers are being used. Some, like Ron Mortensen, a child identity expert, believe the number could be closer to 50,000. of the say up to 50 thousand have been used. Hamp says it is just so much easier to use a child's number versus an adult's number. "Someone on a child's number is going to receive away with years of misuse before anyone discovers it." Utah is unique in that it does notify families when it finds an issue, most state do not do that. And the attorney general has a website to report stolen social security numbers. But the problem is so widespread and so difficult to detect, that many experts believe without major change - like forcing employers to verify social security numbers before they hire anyone - there is no way to slow it down. For more information check out these sites. http://iris.utah.gov/iris/public/map.do http://idtheft.utah.gov/reportidtheft/index.html http://www.ssa.gov/pubs/10064.html http://www.abc4.com/content/news/top%20stories/story/Utah-childrens-social-security-numbers-still/-c9IYHjOv0mlIyNVEg22VQ.cspx

Open Question: Why is it necessary to teach children false information?
I recently graduated with a psychology degree with a minor in history, and from what i have noticed is that many great details about human history is left out completely or altered in such a away that when learned at a higher level, the new information seems unfathomable. So, why is it that we can't just learn at a younger age the same history that we learn at higher levels of learning (without being so complicated of course) but still relevant?

Open Question: What do you think of this plot for a story I want to write?
Here's a little background (keep in mind this is every made up - none of this is true... as far as I know). If you can picture a DNA model, there are two strands that spiral together. Very rarely does this occur, but a mutation happens where a third strand develops, giving the fetus inhuman genetics. This DNA effects the brain, allowing it to process up to ten times the capacity of a normal human. However, at a young age, the brain doesn't have the maturity to make sense of every the information stored in it, which is why a grand majority of the superhuman population (which is like .000013 of the global population) struggle academically and socially. When full grown, these superhumans can have up to four-hundred years advanced knowledge, making them useful, but also a dangerous threat. The government made it a priority to eliminate every members of this inhuman race, but many groups arose that protected and defended the superhumans, among them the S.D.D.S.S.R. (Society Dedicated to the Defense and Security of the Superhuman Race). This group is an undercover society that locates these supernaturals before they have fully matured. So now that you receive the gist of what's going on, here's the story: Alethea is a normal (to some extent) fifteen year-old girl. The only family she has is her older brother Caleb, who is twenty-two. Caleb has raised her since he was seventeen when their parents mysteriously disappeared. However, Caleb has gotten more and more distant the older Alethea has gotten. He works longer hours and is almost never home, but she never knew why, nor did she question it. The S.D.D.S.S.R. had been monitoring her growth (superhuman time!) and has finally decided that it's time she was separated from the normal world to start her training. However, things don't go quite as smoothly as expected (or else there would be no story, right?) Well, tell me what you think! I think it's a pretty original idea and I really wish to look this receive published!

I adore to eat healthy because I just think healthy food tastes so good! I don't think I have to change my eating habits at every. Yes I do have a cheeseburger, fries, and a soft drink every once in a while but I don't really gain any weight from that. Lol I don't even exercise that much! Open Question: What could this medical condition be? I need an answer please!?
My daughter is fifteen years old. At age nine she "dislocated" Her knee for the first time. She mentioned it to her pediatrician at age eleven, but we lacked proper information to help him determine what her condition was. He said it sounded like Dislocating Patellas, but referred her to a specialist to be safe. The specialist said that the pediatrician was wrong and that he couldn't diagnose my daughter either. She has been on a waiting list ever since then to look the number one knee specialist in our city, but she is getting desperate for an answer. Here's what is going on: During regular activities such as sitting, walking, or even turning in bed my daughter will experience a great pain in her left or right knee. She says it feels like it is dislocating. She can not straighten her leg, bare weight, or move. The pain is excruciating to her. Her thigh and calf are not in line, almost as if her thigh is three inches more to the right than her calf. She has to put her hand on her knee and gently push her leg down until it pops. When it pops her leg jumps violently and is back in a straight line. What would cause such a thing like that for five years? Does she need surgery?

Open Question: I have a relationship problem that I could use help with.?
Okay, so let me just give you a little background information on my situation. To start it off, I am almost 16 years of age, and my girlfriend who is currently my ex, is almost 16 as well. We started off as friends in middle school, "dated" for about two weeks in 7th grade, but that ended. I put dated in quotations because it wasn't a serious relationship, because quite honestly no relationship at that age is serious. We talked every day to eachother just about every day, and she quickly became my best pal, and I wanted more. This girl soon began to become the most important person in my life, and I would do anything for her. Through the years we had our rough patches in life, and we would grow apart at times, but we would always arrive back to eachother. We had this bond that I didnt was possible for two people to have, and I began to understand what it was to adore another person. When I wasn't talking to her, my mind went crazy just thinking about her, and to this day it does the same thing. We remained solely friends after that 7th grade incident, and even dated other people. But we need hid our feelings about eachother, there was always a place in our heart for one another. End of freshman year rolls around. We're still talking, and still sharing our feelings, my adore for her did nothing but grow over the years, and I had to show it to her. It had been about 10 months since I saw her, and finally made a real push to look her. We talked over those months, but we went to different high schools that were on the opposite side of town of eachother, so it was difficult to look one another. I made the push, we went to the movies as friends. We knew something more would arrive out of it, and we let it happen. Hands were held, kisses were had, everything I could wish for in a girl, this girl had it and more. She's truly amazing, and in my eyes she is perfect. We dated for a couple months. Leds speed up to current day. She went off on a trip for a week, I saw her the day before she left, and it's looking like the last day I would ever look her. We didnt talk for that week, she came back a few days ago, and she texted me for about 30 minutes before she had to leave. I was ecstatic to talk to her the next day, I could barely snooze. I wake up, no texts and no calls, which is unusual. I wait every day, still nothing, not even a answer to my texts. Finally around 6 P.M., I receive a call from her mom. Her mom tells me that me and her daughter need to take a long break, and that in that break we shouldnt have any sort of communication. This breaks my heart, I dont let her mom know it, but I was literally dieing on the inside from her words. She tells me that she knows about some things that we did when we were alone, and as a parent she was not glad about it. We didnt have sex. We didnt do anything in a serious sexual manner. I dont know what exactly she was referring to, but Im guessing it was when we made out and gently explored our bodies, but its light roaming from the passion, and in the moment thing if you will. This was once. Neither one of us are wanting to have sex, we just want to have a relationship that lasts. But her mom tells me that im no longer allowed to talk to her daughter. Again, this is devastating to me. I wasn't just losing a girlfriend, Im losing a best pal. I dont know exactly what to do to fix it, but I cant take this at every. I want to talk to her, more than anything. How am I able to receive her parents trust again, and make them feel like im not a bad influence on their daughter? Im not a bad person or boyfriend at every, im a very sweet and loving person who wants to give my every to the person that I care about more than anything. Can I receive some advice? Please and thank you Sincerely, A teenage boy in adore. Thanks, but I really dont want to go behind her mom's back every that much. I just want her mom to understand who I am and to know that I would never do anything to hurt her daughter or guide her in the wrong way. This is what I was thinking: I would wait about a week or two, let the smoke clear, and call her mom. Have a one on one conversation, and give her a heart to heart. Let her know how I feel about everything and tell her how much her daughter means to me, and ask if I at the very least just communicate with her daughter. If at the very least, I just want to be able to talk to her. I've never used this before, so I wish everyone knows that im putting my responses to your responses in the additional details section in the order that I receive them. I want to talk to her mom, definately. She is without a doubt the way to her daughter. But explaining the things that we did would definately not look good on me at every. I mean to me and this girl, it was just something that happened in the moment, and it didnt mean much. But to her mom it means a lot, and I can totally understand that, im able to put myself in the place of the parent and understand why she would make the decisions she did.

Open Question: South West Trains Penalty Fine - Should I appeal - Help!?
Hi. The other day, me and my friends went to Bournemouth, and we got a child ticket, as we assumed anything below the age of 18 was classed as a child. We were on the train, and we got checked, twice. They even clearly stated "Oh your kids" and was just asking casual questions about school and stuff, cause it was early. arrive to the station, we put our ticket through the machine, and I won't lie, this guy was being really cocky and like saying, oh your clearly not kids and started asking our ages. The first few of my friends said they were 15, cause they were afraid that the ages were not as high as they thought they were. I told the truth, and said I was 16, but I was confused about. We then got told to fill in these forms, but at this time, we had a different person dealing with us. I asked him why I was being charged and he said kids is classed as over 15, and I explained that I didn't know this. I think he did tell me to appeal because it's an honest mistake, but policy means he does have to apply the fine. I explained that I buy kids tickets to Basingstoke and other places and it's never been a problem, but aparently, on the ticket machines it says the ages about child and adult ages for tickets, but we have never ever seen it before (I will double check ASAP). But he then explains what's gunna happen (bearing in mind this is the new guy, the more friendly one). He said that we'd have the fine, but we didn't have to pay for our ticket home, cause some of it was mis-understanding. But then another guy comes along, has a look, and says no no they are getting charged the fine and another ticket, so somehow we had to fork up £100 between us... I would also like to add, I got told that a place may only search your bag/purse/wallet if they have a clear sign somewhere saying they are eligable to (I have seen this sign in the cinema, about random bag checks) but I didn't look it in the station, and he asked to look my friends purse and bag, although she just ended up saying she was 16. I think this is a little out of order if this wasn't allowed? But it was an honest mistake, and everyone thought the same thing, we've never been asked before with kids (even at the age of 16) so we thought that there was no trouble. Should I appeal? I am anyway, but not for a few days till I find out some information. I'd like to also add that they said because we lied, the train penalty was going to be £46, and not £20, but their policy clearly states we receive the more expensive one, so even though £46 is the right price, he lied to us about it, and that is so hypocritical (even though some of my friends lied). One of our friends got an adult ticket, and we got asked why he brought one and not us, and we told them that their parents always buy them for him online, and they obviously knew, but not us. I did not ask a question on here to receive told I'm lying, so unless anyone has useful information, please don't bother answering. The guy was a guard at the station, by the gate. It was the guard being cocky/smug. And it's not exactly ignorance if the machine had no information on it? d01042007 - Or maybe your an ignorant son of a ..... and don't understand if someone doesn't use the trains often (I receive lifts everywhere or walk) they have no idea, specially if there is NO SIGN ON THE TICKET MACHINE! DR + Mrs Bears face - How did I know full well that anyone over the age of 12 is an adult...And receive your facts right, on a train, it turned out to be 15. If I knew full well that an adult was 15, I would have paid the full price in group 4 tickets, since you receive them cheaper than an adult. And it's not as though I sit there and watch train adverts. I don't look how it's my fault if there is no age on the machine.
