Open Question: Help identifying the name of this coin?

Hey there! From a young age I have had a great interest in history and antiques and though a job related to the past, e.g an archaeologist is not the path I've chosen in life, I still like reading about the past and I collect ancient coins and anything else I can afford. I've been looking up my coins online, looking for further information about them but I'm finding difficulty getting the name and information on a particular coin. It is a genuine Egyptian coin, dated around 120AD. On one side of the coin can be seen the head of Hadrian and on the reverse side the God of the Nile - Nilus - can be seen in a reclining position, holding a cornucopia. I know that it is quite a rare coin but unfortunately mine is very worn. Can anyone tell me anything more about this coin or send me a link to a website which could do so?

Open Question: At what age did you have your first boyfriend/girlfriend?

I'm 19 (female) and have never had a boyfriend. I have never been asked out, but once this boy asked me out who used to bully me and naturally I had the sense to say no. I am slightly larger than every my friends but I am not "fat" and I am of average aesthetic value. I have male friends but none of them look me as girlfriend material. Did you ever feel like this? Open Question: More heart beats! MATH AGAIN!?

Thanks for the help on the last one, guys! So here's another... My heart rate is 72 beats per minute and I'm 22 years old. Elizabeth's heart rate is180 beats per minute and she's 30 years old. Thus, due to much calculation: My heart has beat 832,550,400 times on average since I was born. Elizabeth's heart has beat 2,838,240,000 on average since she was born. The question is... Based on these numbers, how old would I be if my heart beat as much as hers has? (Strictly going off of age comparison or whatever, minus the strangeness of it.) Answers are great, as are any formulas to solve with! Also, if there isn't enough information given, it'd be good to know what I need!

Open Question: How to separate/filter/pick out data on my excel pivot table?

I have a stats class that pretty much leaves its students to swim or sink. I can't sink, help! please! I have a set of data with both sexes mixed with columns of different sorts of information, some numbers some different word choices. I made a pivot table with every my data. But how do i receive to separate female information from the male like age. when i do an age and sex comparison on the pivot table i receive female males and a count of how many females and males are of each age number. i cant average that! i need to be able to separate the ages into quarters too. i know how to do both but i need to separate female and male information from the big data set, not the count of how many females or males are of a certain age. please help. again. please.

Open Question: What is wrong with my poor dog?! Please help :/?

Ok first let me start you off with a brief history. We got Hammy when he was 3 months old. He was a healthy glad typical puppy. When he was 9 months old he began having terrible diarrhea (he would still only go 2 or 3 times a day but it was always diarrhea). We took him to the vet and they tried every sorts of fecal samples and blood work but everything came back negative. They tried switching his food which didn't help at every either. at 12 months old he was now also EXTREMELY itchy. He would give himself hot spots from scratching and chewing and would have 3-5 sores at any given time. I would treat them individually with over-the-counter ointment which would help the sores but he would just chew or scratch creating more sores. The vet told us he just had separation anxiety. Which didn't make sense to me because he did it every the time. Unless he was sleeping he would scratch about every 10 minutes. So, I took Ham to a new vet. He ran every the same tests had us switch his food again, and again none of it gave us any answers. He also had us switch to vegetarian kibble to rule out allergies to any specific meat product. That didn't help. Eventually he just says "he probably just has a sensitive stomach". Now as for hammy's skin he did skin scrapes, a check below UV lights and even did a Lyme-Sulfur dip just in case... again NOTHING helped. So we decide to take a break from vets for a while. Now Hammy is 2 years old and hurt his paw running outside so we take him to a new vet. My husband had been concerned about his weight so we asked to vet for his opinion and to weigh him... he had lost 15 pounds in 6 months! between the ages of 18-24 months when he should have been gaining weight. AGAIN! This new vet tells us to just "switch his food". 18 months and about 2,500$ we are still at square one only he seems to be getting worse (with the weight loss). I don't care about spending money to help him be healthy and glad but I feel like I have gotten no where. Additional Information: Hammy is a pure-bred German Shepherd from a very reputable breeder. His peak weight was 85 pounds and he now weighs 70.3 the vet says he is about 15% underweight. Both his parents weighed over 100 pounds We feed him Natures Recipe. He has never had fleas. He has always gotten every vaccine and at the appropriate age/time. We did try forti floura and it helped about 3 times and then it was as if it just stopped working. He has a RAVENOUS appetite and will never reject food (I even catch him snooping around the trash can though he has never gotten anything out of it) With every these health problems he is a VERY glad dog (still a puppy at heart). I adore my dog so much and just want for him to be glad and healthy but I am scared to take him to another vet to pay for blood work and fecal samples only to hear he has a sensitive stomach/skin... ANY TIPS OR ADVICE OR THINGS TO LOOK INTO WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED! ****Also please no rude comments... I promise I have gone though MANY phases of feeling guilty like I am being a bad owner and am not doing something right. I am trying my hardest but just keep hitting brick walls****

Open Question: What type of brain injury would cause someone to be "stuck" at the age they were when they sustained it?

I met a twelve-year-old boy who had fallen nine feet and landed on his head when he was six years old. According to his grandmother, he effectively hasn't matured past the age of six in any way except physically. After the injury, he continued to attend school, but was asked to leave immediately because he couldn't retain information from one day to the next and soon his ability to write failed him. After much practice, he's capable of writing his name, but that's it. He can hold his possess in conversation but appears a little nervous, as if he's below attack (though this may just be behavior that's emerged from being teased and bullied so much). Can I receive a diagnosis? Anyone?

Open Question: Can you tell me how old this wooden desk is?

I bought it at a garage sale planning to restore it, but I would like to know its age before i restore it. My dad said its made from pine. I noticed the underside of the drawer had circular blade marks, so its not super old, but there are old characteristics to it, like the joints. But the legs make me skeptical because they look so good. I wasn't sure if they could work a lathe that good back then. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Open Question: Can I still claim my son on my taxes?

My son is a full-time college student below the age of 24, but I cannot find information on the irs website about the dependents income. My son earned $22,000 last year and he still lives with me. Are there earning limits too? Can I claim him just based on his age and he is a full-time college student but not his income? He doesn't pay rent and none of the bills of the home. He only pay for school books, gas, clothing, and his cellphone, and his part of the car insurance. He's on my car and health insurance. In other words he has no real responsibilities.

Open Question: Help, what should I do with my summer?

A little background information is in order before I ask for your advice. Currently I am a sophomore at a major university and this summer I can either take a four month road trip across the Southwestern United states or work for 10$ an hour and keep up 5,000$ and take some classes at community college. Obviously taking classes and saving some money is practical, but I would miss out on a fun opportunity with two of my best friends to look a part of the U.S.A. I saved up 4000$ last summer and my school is completely paid for through scholarships and grants so I don't really need money. I bought myself a 89' Jeep Cherokee and I am considering taking a 4 month trip across Western Texas, Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Nevada, Utah and California. We would split the fuel costs and our food will arrive from local farmer's markets and hole in the wall restaurants, and most nights we plan to spend camping below the stars in desert areas off the beaten path and high way. The cost should arrive out to ~30$ each for my girlfriend, my best pal, and me. I think it would be great fun experiencing American culture that I am not exposed to (lived in Texas and New York), seeing our beautiful country, chugging down the highway with some Zeppelin below the wide blue sky, listening to great music at many festivals that we plan to attend, going to Vegas, living in San Fransisco for a month with a pal, visiting National parks,getting stoned or tripping on shrooms in the middle of nature after a long day's hike into remote desert/canyon areas. Everything will be played by ear. Nothing is down on paper but the basic pretense of the trip is laid out. We are every geology majors so we have extensive knowledge of field methods, trekking in the wilderness, and appreciation for the great outdoors. On the other hand I could work during the summer and keep up 5000$. This would allow me to make a savings account at the age of 19 and I would not have to worry about my financial situation as I can build up a safety net. Additionally I could take 12 hours during the summer and receive ahead by a semester. What should I do?

Resolved Question: Will my parakeets breed if one misses a different one?

Okay, I know I ask a lot of questions about breeding. But I need every the information I can receive. Recently I wanted to breed these two budgies I thought looked cute and would make cute babies.. I let them bond for about 4 months before I tried putting the nest box in. Than I looked stuff up and found out your not supposed to breed a female budgie over 4 years of age, cause of causes of egg binding etc.. So I removed her from the cage and I realized I had a female budgie that was the same age as The male. But they didn't know each other that well.. So I put them in a cage together wall every the other birds were in the flight cage. And after about 7 days of bonding with the new female they started fighting. THAN the female that was previously with him started to cheer him on and now they keep tweeting to each other, and he's not paying any attention to the new female budgie.. I think maybe he misses her? What should I do to increase the chances of the male and new female bonding more?

we live in georgia my bf wanted to drop out of high school when he turned 18 which was on september 18 2011, so he went off of school campus on september 16 2011 and he was arrested for being off campus it was said on the record it was for disorderly conduct and now after paying a fine he has to do 40 hours of community service and he works two jobs at both his dad's clubs and he has now realize you need an high school graduation to receive somewhere in life, he has passed 9th grade and he had dropped out the 1st semester of his sophmore year, i have heard that the age restriction is 21 then your out of school. tomorrow i'm going to school but looking up online i want to look if i could receive ahead of things and the only thing that i have gotten was by 21 your out of school. i just want to help my boo bear and i could lecture him every day on how i was right and he should've never left school but now i can only work for the future and even though it barely involve me, i adore him so much and i just want to receive him back on track. Now i'm assigned to a conseulour cause of my last name and she suck but stranger out there i'm not putting this up for nothing.... so please help me gather more information and look if he can receive back to school and receive a HIGHSCHOOL DIPLOMEA and not GED unless it's to tardy and that would have to be our only wish......

Open Question: My four and half year old nephew is always so hyper and never listens?

He just got kicked out of nursery school because he jumped up and down on tables and pushed his classmates. One kid even got hurt (a wound on the elbow, about as big as half a band-aid). He can talk but sometimes only his family can understand him because he says words that doesn't arrive out right (aggaber=mad birds). He can't say L sounds and pronounce them with Y or W, but I that's probably normal. He runs every the time and cries when he doesn't receive what he wants. If you tell him what he's doing is bad, he will tell you he's sorry and after a few minutes, he will do it again. He loves punching me, his brother and his nanny, though he's only playing it still hurts and he won't cease unless you distract him, for example you tell him to play another game or eat. If he sees kids his age playing, he would run up to them and start playing but later he becomes violent and either punches or pushes someone, because he hates it when he looses games, though he doesn't know how to play them. When you call his name, you have to say it about 2 to 5 times even though his just beside you watching or playing. If you ask him to sing, he would either sing immediately or talk about what he's doing. But he's smart and picks up things he learn on TV. He could open the computer and play games since he was two. He knows his colors, numbers, basic information about himself, some songs, and the notes to twinkle twinkle on piano. He hasn't memorized the Alphabet yet, but he will in time. So, anyone knows if there is something wrong with him? Maybe its ADHD? He isn't always like that, he calms down when he plays computer games and watches TV, but he's hyper when there are many people in his home, sometimes while eating and always when we are outside the home.

Open Question: Can I foster/adopt my sisters child without her knowing?

Okay, so my situation is VERY unique. I was adopted as an baby to a wonderful family...however, at age 16 I found my biological mom and sister. We held up communication with them for a few years but clip every ties with them after I was married and had my possess kids due to them being addicted drugs, alcohol, and being in and out of jail...I didn't think it was a good influence on my kids. However, my biological half sister has two kids (thats I know of) that are currently in foster care....would it be possible for me to take one (or both!) of them in via fostering/adoption without my sister finding out? I suppose she would have to know if we adopted, but I dont know the legalities of it or even IF they would let me have them over their current foster families since I am a blood relative. We live no where close to them and my husband and I are financially stable and could provide for the kids...it breaks my heart knowing they being tossed from home to home when we could take them in on a permanent basis and give them every the adore and support that they deserve. I am just worried about my sister and her negative influences on them if she were to know. Would a local social worker be able to find out information for me?? Any advice or answers would be MUCH appreciated!!! Thanks!!! I might add as well that my sister and my mom are on a "no contact" basis with either child.

Open Question: agility training for dogs?

so i might be getting a 5 year old terrier cross from an animal shelter. my mum just told me that the dog could do agility training. i have wanted to do that for ages. i am 13 years old and i have no idea what it will be yet but i want to work with animals. and i think dog training or competitions would be fun. my mum has said that i could do it and i also asked her can i do competitions if she was really good. it will probably be a few years till she could do competitions but i just want to receive out there and go for it give it a try. i wanted her as a pal but when i found out she could do that i wanted it to be im training my best pal im testing myself and i want to go out there make my dreams arrive true with my best pal. i don't think she has had training before im not sure. i don't want to do this because i want to do competitions and if she isn't good im gonna receive rid of her i want to do it because it looks fun and if we lost oh well doesn't really matter i just want something me and the dog can to together. so i want to know more about this and what age do you have to be to enter a competition because i am 13 and im gonna be the trainer i want to do it with am i to young to enter a competition do i have to be 16? what is it like? also i want to know of some good places in england to train. any information on this would be great thanks.

Open Question: How do I calculate our tax refund?

I'm new at doing taxes. I've always used TaxSlayer (online). Last year in January 2011, my husband and I bought our first home ($158,000) which we've paid $5999 in taxes for (from form 1098). Our monthly payment was $1157. I don't know what is relevant for taxes and what isn't. I read online about some forms which I can't find anywhere (not sure if we got them?) They're 1099-INT, 1099-OID and 1099-DIV. Do I need these forms?? In any case, this year my husband made $45800, fed witheld was only $2120. He's filing as head of household and claiming myself and our 2 kids (ages 2 and 1 on dec. 31st). I didn't work 2011. He's 23 and I'm 22. So my questions are, what forms do I need, besides record of purchase for the home, his W-2's, and form 1098? About how much should we expect back? Also, I have a form that says Real Property Tax Information Enclosed, which says Taxes as Assessed is $1524. Someone help me solve this riddle, I am so confused!!! Please no rude or useless comments, just helpful answers. Thanks! I've also tried filling out a 1040 myself, but I receive confused...even with a "how to" page, I'm not sure what numbers to put where and I'm not sure if I'm doing it right.

Open Question: Any good websites on weight pulling?

I'm interesting in starting weight pulling with my APBT when he's old enough, I think it's something he'd really like :) But every the websites I look at are showing champions or are for competitions. Does anyone know a good source of information for beginners? I understand the potential dangerous to this sport and so I want to do it right. He's probably around a year old and is already a 80lb beast, but I keep hearing different things about what age to start them. Thanks for the help! So I did some research on grey horses and how they change last night and found some interesting, yet confusing, information. I knew that most grey horses lighten up as they age, however I did not not that every grey horses are born another color and can change from a solid (baby age), to dapple grey, then to fleabitten, etc. They say that grey is one of the most constant changing colors for a horse, which is facinating, but as a horse owner of a grey horse I am curious and anxious to know what the heck my horse is going to look like in the future! His mom was a grey and his dad is a bay. I do not know what color he was born as but I do know he sired a grey colt that was born grulla. Open Question: why do I always have to prove my intelligence to others? (race related)?

I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but I am a darkskin African American young lady. You don't know how many times my self worth and intelligence has been tested by other people, specifically within my possess race. On jobs, I've literally had people test me just to look how "smart" I was over some of the most trivial things. Not to say it hasn't happened by Whites but it seems to happen MORE by those within my possess race. Usually someone has planted a "seed" and spread some untrue information about my level of intelligence which leads to other people giving me a series of 'tests' just to look how smart I am; I've worked on jobs where I've literally had co-workers secretly watching me just to look how well I can do something every THE TIME. I've been purposely given half a$$$ directions only for me to figure out what it was they really wanted. I don't know if my skin tone has something to do with it; maybe there is some ignorant perception that darker women are slow or dumb or that they had bad experiences with many of the AA women who are employed but I feel that I am always jumping through hoops to prove my self worth and intelligence to other black people. When I am with my mom, people just presume she knows what she is doing, maybe due to her age. but with me, I not given that same respect. I don't know if its because I am young, my skin tone or just some racist preconceived notion because of my race/color can someone help me out?

First let me say that my parents are good people, just not good parents. Everyday my routine is to hear my parents complain about how my lifestyle is horrible and how I changed because I have no time to help out with their responsibilities and receive showed off as the "trophy kid" to their friends that pretend to adore them. I am deciding whether I should leave them, or try to help them to like their life as well. But for your information, please read on... My childhood was based on the principle of making people envy you. My parents taught me not to have any friends, or anyone at every because they are a waste of time and competition. Time should be spent on studying, and pleasing the family. Because of this, I was successful at a lot, but I did not have a childhood at every. This changed when I realized that I do not have to do this, because I do not owe my happiness to my parents. They chose for me to be brought into this world. Don’t receive me wrong, I am grateful for the fact that I had luxuries that many would not have in their lifetime, even though I was bordering poverty at a young age. However it does not give them an excuse to make me work for them and be their slave to satisfy their demands. My dad is a businessman and a success story, coming to Canada with nothing and produced a wealthy business. However, he is lazy, apathetic and ungrateful. He used to beat my mom and cheat on her while working me to death when I was young. When I was 11 years old, I had to comeback from school and work for him. Does not matter if I had homework, projects, or an exam tomorrow, I had to be his office assistant, book keeper, IT consultant, caretaker, and more. So on top of my studies, I had to go to the library to study on the topic computers, web page design, Microsoft office, and more to become those people for my dad. On top of that, he has the audacity to yell at me and beat me when I made a mistake. Worse yet, when he makes mistakes. For instance, when he was “working” and started to complain about the computer being slow and said it was my fault. I agreed with him to not provoke him, and started to check on the issue. Turns out (wasn’t surprise then or will ever be); he was having fun with pornography. Incidentally, I tried to delete the pages that he was looking through to cover his tracks, so nobody that was using the computer would ever accidentally be brought to those pages. Incidentally, he walked in and lost it. Beat me, threw me out of his office, and started to verbally abuse me. Since I had “no right” to suspect him of that, when there was a spyware called xxx something. On the other side, I use to adore my mom, she was a victim of my dad and I would always try to please her. However, I found out that she only cared about my success and her bragging rights. It would always bring her happiness that she could brag about my trophies, awards, recognition or worse yet being accepted into medical school in the UK while in my senior year of high school. However, I rejected the offer and started to like life. As a result, I am glad, I have a great gal, one best pal to do every single stupid thing that both our lives can muster and overall knowing that I am doing something that is for myself and not for others. As of now, I am transferring to one of the top, if not top business schools in Canada to become an investment banker. Even though my parents are still stuck on me becoming a doctor, not because of how much of a great field it is but because it’s another bragging right. In every my life, it seems that every they cared about was bragging rights. For instance, I wanted to take a break before I embark on my first year of university, but my parents forced me to go. They said, it will look bad on the family, and it was already shameful of me to reject medical school. every I wanted was to catch up with my childhood and be glad for once, but that was not enough for them. During that whole battle, I felt like more than an investment than a son being loved unconditionally. It’s unhappy really; every they want from me now is to be a millionaire and to retire them. It just so happens, that it is my aim to become an investment banker at Goldman Sachs. But if not, I have an excellent chance to work at a well-respected firm in Toronto that pays really well. Since my days as an intern there, impressed my boss so much that she is pressuring me to work for them and end my days at university. With every that, I am debating whether to leave my parents and move on by retiring them, or leave and arrive back to help them realize life is more than whatever they think it is. every I want is for them to like life, have fun because it is short. I have been trying to this for 2 years, but little progress is made. Please help, I lost my adore for them... I don’t feel anything when it comes to my parents. I beg of you to please help me out, thank you. Maybe it is a phase but I am not a teenager, and this has been going on for 15 years. If you do not want to read the relax because you do not have time, that's fine. However if you think you came to that conclusion because of the title, please read on. I'm an active-duty 11-Bravo and I'm trying to receive more information about the age cutoff for the Green-to-Gold program. I've been getting wildly varying information. Some people say it's 31, some say it's 32, some say it's 35. So what is it? These are the ROTC requirements for Joe Snuffy off the road. I'm looking for the Green-to-Gold requirements for current active-duty personnel. The word I hear from my E-6 squad leader who just came back to the line after being a recruiter is that the age cutoff is 35, but I can't find that confirmed anywhere.

My girlfriend is 15 and I am 18. We have a 2 year and 6 months gap between our ages. I understand it is illegal to engage in sexual activities with her but is it illegal for us to date? Open Question: Chances of getting license or permit early due to handicapped parent?

I'm 15 years old and live in the state of Virginia on Quantico marine corps base. My dad is a marine here, and I live with him, my little brother(he's 7 and can't do anything), my older sister (she is 17, and a full time student. She rarely helps out with the chores and our family unless she is forced, no one does), and my handicapped mom (she is in a wheelchair from Progressive Multiple Sclerosis and is physically and mentally unable to help with anything.) my dad tries to help at much as he can but it's getting too much. He's the one in our family that can steer (my sister is too lazy to receive her drivers license and it doesn't matter because she is about to move out and go to college) and we can't receive everything done. I'm very mature for my age and have good grades and every honor courses. My question is, is there any chance of me getting my driver's license and/or allow early? Resolved Question: Meeting my Online Boyfriend For the First Time?

Some background information.. We met each other on a gaming site. He sent me a request to be friends in August, but we never talked until September. We've been dating since September 26th, 2011. The first day we started talking, to each other we talked for exactly, 7 hours straight. While we were getting to know each other he told me he lived in Milan, Italy and that he's moving to America to live with his cousins in August. I told him I lived in America, and asked him what city he's moving too. He said Henderson, Nevada. And that's where I live.. O.o So this was just.. A major coincidence. I couldn't believe I met someone who was moving here. What are the chances? And shortly after, we fell in adore. He never formally asked me to be his girlfriend, it just happened.. I talk to him 4-10 hours a day.. Sometimes more.. I'm just hopelessly addicted to this boy, and we have a nine hour time difference.. We sort of, adjusted our lives to work away around this problem so we could spend more time together.. He stays up until 6am, on the days he has no school, and I stopped doing stuff after school, and I just go straight home and onto the computer. And for those who may have doubts, I know for a fact that he's legit. We've skype called, he showed me pics of his family, and videos. He sent me a teddy bear, flowers, and a shirt for Christmas, with the correct billing info. So I know he's real. Just for review we've been together for a little over 4 months, and he will be moving here in 6 months.. I know we have a long wait ahead of us, and he still hasn't gotten his student visa accepted yet. But regardless, I'm still nervous as hell. And the worst part is, we have an age gap which is looked down upon by society. I'm currently fourteen, (turning fifteen in a week) and he's nineteen (turning twenty in two weeks.) My parents are aware that I'm talking to him, and his age. They are also aware that he is moving here, and that I am intending to meet him. But what they don't know is, that we are dating. Although they both confronted me, asking if we were in a relationship, and I denied, in fear that I would be ridiculed.. Most people act like the internet is unsafe, and that online relationships are for the lonely, and desperate.. That is why I'm afraid to admit it to my parents. Especially for the predator trash. Sure, their has been cases, where a girl has gotten murdered, from meeting someone online. But the media obviously endorses that, because who would talk about someone successfully meeting someone online, unharmed? Most people on the internet are the average everyday person, like you and me. But unfortunately my mom doesn't believe so. Although, there's nothing wrong with taking precautions. We're also both worried we'll disappoint each other, and feel like we won't meet each others expectations. We are also very insecure about our appearances, even though he's extremely attractive.... And we are both really introverted people in the real world. I hardly have any friends, and have trouble connecting with people my possess age (this is probably why I always end up talking to older people online.) I can hardly communicate with people in general, (online and offline.) I actually suffer from social anxiety disorder, therefore I tend to avoid social situations at every costs. So I'll be having a difficult time working up the courage to meet the adore of my life.. It's so unbelievably nerve-wracking.. This is the reason why I'm asking for advice six months in advance. So what I'm really wanting to know is, how should I prepare for meeting him? What are some tips on breaking the ice..? Where do you recommend I meet him? A pal of the family left several thousand dollars to me in their will. My mom was the executor of the estate and was named the trustee until I reached the age of majority (19 in British Columbia, I am now 19). Unfortunately, she has had to deal with the loss of her boyfriend and her mom and that has taken a toll on her mental well being. Open Question: In the state of Kentucky, can moving out of state cause a parent to be deemed "unfit" and cost them custody?

Of course, I'm asking for informal advice here but any information or links to the specific laws would be helpful. Also, don't tell me to go ask a lawyer because the circumstances make that approach impractical. Someone I know is 15. Let's call her Jane (obviously not the real name). Jane lives in Kentucky with her mom, who is divorced from an abusive dad who raped her at a young age and got away scot-free because he's friends with the local law enforcement. Jane never wants to look her dad again and is unhappy with where she lives. She and her mom are considering moving out-of-state to any northern state on the eastern seaboard, depending on her mom's capability to find employment in any given area. Jane's only concern is the perceived threat of her dad's capability to take the case to court in an attempt to have her mom found "unfit" based on the move. He has made several attempts to do so before on different accusations, unsuccessfully. If Jane is close to age 16 (when her opinion carries more weight to the legal system) and fully endorses moving, as does her mom, can her dad really find any grounds to prevent it and even gain custody of her? Open Question: Custody Question for Foster Parents/Social Workers or someone very knowledgeable.?

Okay, My parents have drug problems, blah blah, I wound up in foster care at age 12. Lived with my foster dad in Kentucky, and grew to adore him like he was my real dad. But kids, make mistakes and take things for granted. And that's exactly what I did. I "Wanted to live with my aunt and uncle in Indiana." Be careful what you wish for, because you just might receive it. I sure as hell got it. Now I'm 15 living with my aunt and uncle in indiana. My brothers, my mom, my foster dad, allll my family live in Kentucky. I want to go back. I miss my brothers, friends, foster dad and my mom very bad. I was always told if I wanted to go back to Kentucky I could, as long as I went back to live with my PREVIOUS foster dad. Me and him discussed to work out the odds and ends and we found out that my health insurance wouldn't carry over and he doesn't have sufficient funding to pick up private insurance for me, but makes too much to receive picked up by medicaid. I'm wondering if anyone could help me with my problem, such as Social Workers, Foster Parents, Lawyers, just anyone who has or may be able to find good information for me. I don't want the answer "You have 3 more years and you can do what you want." But people say you'll miss your childhood, so don't wish it away. I'm not going to miss living up here. They showed these two sitcoms for free on a plane I was on a little over a year ago. I don't really remember much of them but in one there was a family with this loser daughter that ran at a track at the end while it was raining, and the son got test scores mixed up so they thought he was smart but he actually wasn't. In the other there was a family and it showed the perspective of the young couple, the middle aged couple, and the older couple. The younger couple had just gotten engaged, I think.
